Why not held in 2020?
The Lacrosse European Championships was planned for 2020. Unfortunately, due to the international situation connected with the COVID-19 pandemic, and with the aim of primarily targeting the health and safety of players, we decided, in agreement with the European Lacrosse Federation and relevant institutions in the country, to postpone the competition until 2021. The Organising Committee of ELC Wrocław 2020 remains in regular contact with the relevant services and institutions, continuing to work on the preparation of the competition. We are doing our best efforts to ensure that the European Lacrosse Championships is held in Wrocław in 2021 with respect for all safety rules, so that we can enjoy this sporting celebration together.
